In 1962, Wilt Chamberlain of NBA SF Warriors scores 73 points vs NY Knicks

In1982,  Agreement reached ending 57 day football strike. The essential cause of the strike was over a dispute over the percentage of gross revenues that the league gave to its players. The NFLPA wanted the percentage increased to 55 percent

In 1984, Houston blocks 20 Denver shots tying NBA regulation game record

In 1988, Robin Givens sues Mike Tyson for $125 million for libel, after an 8th month marriage. This relationship was the real-life making of beauty and the beast. Mike, the bad boy form Bronx and Robin the Catholic girl who was brought up attending mass on Sunday. Over the eight months of their marriage, there were accusations of adultery and abuse. They officially Divorced on Valentine day, 1989.
