How To Power Your Muscles with Your Nose

Your body runs on oxygen, just as your automobile runs on gasoline. When you start to exercise–whether marathon running, walking or any other physical activity–your muscles need more oxygen. The body meets this need by supplying oxygen-rich blood to the muscles.

The fact that Oxygen is so important is enough incentive to ensure your breathing is correct if not perfect. One perfect breathing style is deep breathing. Deep breathing is achieved when you breath with your nose. But most of us athelete are used to breathing with our mouth, which is shallow breathing. Shallow breathing results in little oxygen into your blood. And if you are taking in little oxygen it means your body is getting little energy.

Its simple the more oxygen you can get into your system the more energy you will have to power your muscles.
